Semarang, (05/04) In order to help students prepare for exams or deepen their understanding of the material in certain courses. The Public Administration Study Program Student Association is organizing an ASTOR (assistance with tutor) activity with the theme “Exploring Knowledge, Expanding Horizons”, which will be held on May 4, 2025, in the FISIP UNDIP Theater Room.

“What is the purpose of ASTOR?” The main goal of the ASTOR activity is to optimally prepare students to master the course material that will be tested in the Midterm Exam and Final Exam. This is achieved thru various learning strategies, including structured teaching and constructive feedback.

“What does the activity look like?” In its implementation, ASTOR activities involve tutors who actively provide additional explanations, discuss material that students haven’t understood, and present relevant practice questions. The focus of this activity is not only on strengthening theoretical understanding, but also on developing practical skills such as problem-solving, effective study techniques, and time management strategies when facing exams.

Students are also given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the tutor about the obtacles they are facing, so that the learning process can be more tailored to the needs of each individual.

“Why is ASTOR 2025 important for Public Administration students?” Because the ASTOR 2025 event provides tangible benefits for Public Administration students, particularly in strengthening their academic understanding outside of formal lectures. Thru this activity, students have the opportunity to learn in greater depth, which can help them better understand course material and improve their readliness for exams and completing assignments. Additionally, ASTOR also encourages students to be more active and confident in the learning process. Not only does this activity support academic aspects, but it also fosters a spirit of collaboration and a sense of togetherness among students in a positive and supportive learning environment.
