Semarang (04/30) – Radio’s role as an educational medium and public communication bridge is gaining ground in the world of higher education. This was reflected in the Undip On Radio: Dean’s Talk on Top Radio which brings together academics with the wider community through live broadcasts on 97.7 Top Radio. The event with the theme “Building Nusa and the Nation through Course Learning at FISIP Undip” was broadcast from the Fimel International Library Room, FISIP Undip, and and also available to stream on the FISIP Undip Official YouTube channel.
In the talk show, the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., explained the important role of FISIP in producing graduates who are not only academically intelligent but also have competitiveness at the national and global levels. He emphasized that “students are the breath and blood of the faculty,” and stressed the importance of project-based learning, experience, and collaboration to build real competencies.
FISIP Undip, according to him, has designed a practice-based curriculum and real cases that prepare students to face the professional world early on. Students are encouraged to be active in internships, and organizational activities, and contribute to digital content. “Life is not easy, but life can be made easier if you believe that there is an easy way to succeed,” he said motivatingly.
During the session, the Dean also highlighted the importance of inclusivity and equality of treatment for all students, whether they enter through the national or independent exam. He emphasized that different entry points do not affect the quality of service and learning at FISIP Undip. He also emphasized the Faculty’s openness and commitment to the convenience of access to information and educational services, including in terms of financing flexibility and scholarship support.
With its inclusive, adaptive, and innovative spirit, FISIP Undip continues to affirm its vision as a noble, valuable, and triumphant institution in producing a generation that is ready to build the country and nation from lecture halls that are open to all.
