The inaugural Assisted Tutorial Sessions, known as ASTOR 1, were held under the inspiring theme “Learn Together, Ace Together.” Organized by the Department of Scientific Research and Socio-Political Affairs of the Public Administration Student Association, the event took place on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Public Policy Laboratory, 3rd Floor, FISIP Undip. Designed specifically for Public Administration students of the 2025 cohort, ASTOR 1 aimed to strengthen academic preparedness in anticipation of the Final Semester Examinations (Ujian Akhir Semester/UAS). The session featured Mohammad Nurul Huda, S.AP., MPA., as the keynote instructor, who delivered a comprehensive review of Statistics. The program was structured to include theoretical expositions, problem-solving exercises, practice drills, and interactive consultation sessions—all crafted to deepen students’ comprehension of course materials and bolster their confidence ahead of the exams.
Moving into the core segment, Mohammad Nurul Huda, S.AP., MPA., presented an intensive module on Statistics to the ASTOR 1 participants. This segment served as a valuable platform for 2025 Public Administration students to revisit previously covered lecture content while demystifying complex concepts that had proven challenging. Beyond the delivery of lectures, attendees were actively engaged in discussions and collaborative problem-solving, working through practice questions likely to appear in the UAS. The participants’ enthusiasm was unmistakable, reflected in their active questioning and direct dialogues with the instructor, which cultivated an interactive and highly conducive learning atmosphere.
Following the conclusion of all session activities, the instructor, organizing committee, and participants came together for a group documentation session to formally close the event. This moment not only served as a gesture of appreciation for the collective contributions that ensured the program’s success but also preserved the spirit of camaraderie that flourished throughout the learning journey. With the successful implementation of ASTOR 1, it is hoped that Public Administration students will approach the Final Semester Examinations with greater readiness and apply the insights gained to achieve optimal academic outcomes.
