Vision

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences has a vision to become a leading research faculty in the field of Social and Political Sciences by 2030.

Mission

To realize its noble vision, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Diponegoro University has established the following missions:

    1. The Faculty provides higher education that produces excellent and competitive graduates.
    2. The Faculty conducts research that yields useful and effective publications, intellectual property rights, books, policies, and technologies, prioritizing local culture and resources.
    3. The Faculty conducts community service that results in useful and effective publications, intellectual property rights, books, policies, and technologies, prioritizing local culture and resources.
    4. The Faculty implements efficient, accountable, transparent, and equitable higher education governance.

Objectives of FISIP UNDIP

The Strategic Plan Draft of Diponegoro University for 2025–2029 concerning the Maturation of World Class University emphasizes the importance of achieving the university’s vision in a measurable and sustainable manner. This strategy is formulated to address global challenges in higher education while strengthening Undip’s role as an institution that excels at the international level. Its main focus is on improving graduate quality, research relevance, and tangible contributions to the development of society and the nation. The strategic objectives of Diponegoro University during this period include:

  1. Producing world-class and excellent graduates who are communicative, professional, possess a leader’s spirit, are entrepreneurial, think critically, and act as agents of change;
  2. Developing and applying innovative research, providing solutions to societal, industrial, and national problems based on UNDIP’s characteristics, and achieving international-standard publications;
  3. Implementing research and community service outcomes to improve the people’s standard of living and advance the nation, as well as fostering and applying knowledge-, technology-, and arts-based entrepreneurship supported by Information Systems;
  4. Developing professionalism, capability, and accountability in good university governance, and enhancing the independence of higher education administration while becoming a role model for other universities.

STRATEGIC GOALS

The strategic goals that can be proposed for FISIP UNDIP for 2025–2029 are as follows:

  1. Improving the quality of graduates who are link and match with the business and industrial world and the education world (DUDI) in the fields of social and political sciences;
  2. Enhancing student competencies and achievements in the fields of social and political sciences;
  3. Improving academic quality in the fields of social and political sciences;
  4. Improving the quality of research products and publications in the fields of social and political sciences;
  5. Enhancing research cooperation and relevance in the fields of social and political sciences;
  6. Enhancing innovation, downstreaming, and contribution of research results to society in the fields of social and political sciences;
  7. Enhancing the competence and professionalism of the academic community in the fields of social and political sciences;
  8. Improving the quality of institutional governance in the fields of social and political sciences;
  9. Increasing the proportion of funding sources from partnerships;
  10. Improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure as well as optimizing asset utilization;
  11. Enhancing the culture of literacy;
  12. Improving the integrated information system;
  13. Enhancing the Quality of Human Resources;
  14. Enhancing Organizational Capacity and Governance that is efficient, accountable, transparent, equitable, and integrated;
