Semarang (17/01) – In an effort to provide education that aligns with students’ needs and support Universitas Diponegoro’s (Undip) vision of becoming a noble and valuable university, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro is exploring a collaboration with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI). This initiative took place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the Senate Meeting Room of the FISIP Undip campus in Tembalang.

The event was attended by representatives from BRI, including Dwi Setyo Suyoko (Regional Consumer Banking Head), Erwin Nur Himawan (Branch Office Head), Danar Puspita (Regional Salary-Based Loan Staff), Fransiska Kumalasari (Funding Transaction Manager), and Dodo (Relation Manager Funding). They were welcomed by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, S. Rouli Manalu, S.Sos., MCommSt., Ph.D., as well as the management team of the Master of Business Administration program.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., emphasized FISIP Undip’s commitment to maintaining the quality of its learning processes. “This faculty consistently ensures that the learning process adheres to the standards set by the Ministry,” he stated.

He also highlighted the importance of partnerships between universities and external stakeholders to produce competent graduates. “The focus of university collaboration is to produce graduates with the necessary competencies and skills. Therefore, the curriculum is designed based on those objectives,” he added.

Furthermore, he emphasized that FISIP Undip is ready to support the needs and targets that BRI wants to achieve. “We are serving the interests, policies, targets set by BRI. So roughly, for example, what competencies to achieve, then what courses to teach,” he explained.

Discussions during the meeting covered potential collaborative plans that could be synergized between the two institutions. This included an overview of the curriculum and the learning process within the Master of Business Administration program at FISIP Undip. The event is expected to open up opportunities for mutually beneficial collaborations for students and the workforce, strengthening the synergy between academia and industry.
