Semarang (06/01) – In a bid to enhance sustainable governance and academic performance, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) held the inauguration of units within the faculty. The event, which took place on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the Theater Room, 1st Floor of Building C, FISIP Undip Campus, Tembalang, marks a significant step in supporting Undip’s vision of becoming a World-Class University.

The inauguration was attended by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, S Rouli Manalu, S.Sos., MCommSt., Ph.D., the Vice Dean for Resources, Ika Riswanti Putranti, S.H., M.H., Ph.D., the Chairperson of FISIP’s Academic Senate, Prof. Dr. Dra. Naili Farida, M.Si., the Secretary of FISIP’s Academic Senate, Dzunuwanus Ghulam Manar, S.IP., M.Si., Director of Directorate of Media Network, Community, and Public Communication, Dr. Nurul Hasfi, as well as coordinators and members of the newly appointed units.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., the Dean of FISIP Undip, expressed his gratitude to all individuals involved in managing the faculty and conveyed his aspirations for the newly appointed coordinators and members. “May all of you contribute effectively to the advancement, excellence, and welfare of Universitas Diponegoro and FISIP Undip as we strive toward becoming a World-Class University,” Dr. Teguh stated.

He also emphasized the importance of achieving performance targets to position Undip among the world’s top 400 universities. Furthermore, Dr. Teguh lauded the efforts of department and study program administrators in addressing various challenges and encouraged continuous learning and experience-sharing to achieve collective progress.

The appointed units include the Expert Staff to the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs/Coordinator for Student Affairs, Expert Staff to the Vice Dean for Resources/Coordinator for RGA and Business, the Faculty Quality Assurance Team (TPMF), the Credit Score Evaluation Team (PAK), the Research and Community Service Development Unit (UP3), the World-Class University (WCU) and Ranking Unit, the Alumni and Tracer Study Unit, the FISIP Wellness Unit (FWU), the Social Sciences Journal Management Unit (JIS), the Website, Social Media, and Public Relations Unit, UPKAB, the Healthy Campus Unit, and the PKM and PRESMA Unit.

This event underscores FISIP Undip’s commitment to enhancing the performance of its units in supporting Undip’s vision of becoming a world-class university. The hope is that these units will continue to innovate, collaborate, and make tangible contributions to strengthening the faculty’s role on both national and international stages. With synergistic collaboration and clear performance targets, FISIP Undip is optimistic about realizing various flagship programs that support the institution’s sustainable advancement.
