Semarang – The research journal titled “Inovasi Birokrasi Pelayanan Publik Bidang Sosial, Tenaga Kerja, dan Transmigrasi di Kabupaten Kudus” (Bureaucratic Innovations in Public Services in the Social, Labor, and Transmigration Sectors in Kudus Regency) by Drs. Aufarul Marom, M.Si. discusses the importance of implementing innovations to enhance the quality of public services in Kudus Regency. The research focuses on how the Kudus local government responds to the public’s need for better, more efficient, and transparent services, particularly in the social, labour, and transmigration sectors.
This research employs a descriptive qualitative method through in-depth interviews and observations. The findings show that two key innovations have been implemented: a home renovation program for low-income families and death compensation for underprivileged citizens. While these innovations have brought significant benefits, there are still administrative obstacles that often delay the implementation process, such as complex requirements and a shortage of personnel in relevant agencies.
The journal also provides recommendations to improve public service quality in Kudus Regency, including increasing the workforce, simplifying administrative procedures, and strengthening oversight to ensure that aid reaches its intended targets. These innovations are expected to boost public trust in the government and create more responsive and high-quality public services in the future.
