Semarang (25/03) – The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) recently held a Muslim Women’s Studies event with the theme “Organizing the Heart, Organizing the Self to Attain the Blessings of Life.” This study was organized through a collaboration between DWP FISIP Undip and the Department of Islamic Affairs of the Darul Ilmi Mosque at FISIP Undip. The event took place on Friday, March 22, 2024, and was attended by several members of the DWP FISIP Undip.

The Muslim Women’s Studies invited Ustadzah Dra. Darosy Endah Hyosciamina, M.Si as the speaker. The event began with the recitation of holy verses from the Qur’an delivered by one of the FISIP Undip staff members, Mrs. Zulfah. The theme of the study delved into the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the heart and organizing oneself to achieve the blessings of life.

In her explanation, Ustadzah Darosy Endah explained the difference between a healthy heart, a sick heart, and a dead heart. A healthy heart finds joy in performing worship, while a sick heart is one that often postpones goodness and continues to make mistakes despite knowing the truth. The dead heart, on the other hand, is unable to distinguish between what is good and what is bad.

Furthermore, she also urged participants to pay more attention to spiritual deeds rather than just pursuing outward rewards. Some heart diseases that need to be avoided include arrogance, vanity, showing off, envy, and jealousy.

The event was attended by several members of the DWP FISIP Undip who enthusiastically participated in the study filled with wisdom and valuable lessons. It is hoped that through activities like this, participants can gain a deeper understanding of the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the heart and organizing oneself in everyday life.
