Semarang (19/02) – Today, the appointment of Student Organizations (Ormawa) within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) has successfully taken place. The event, held in the meeting room of Building D on the 1st floor of FISIP Undip Tembalang campus, was attended by various prominent figures within the FISIP Undip community, including the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., Vice Dean of Resources at FISIP Undip, Ika Riswanti Putrati, S.H., M.H., Ph.D., Manager and Supervisors within FISIP Undip, Heads of Undergraduate Study Programs within FISIP Undip, Ormawa Advisors within FISIP Undip, as well as Chairs and Members of the Functionaries of FISIP Undip’s Student Organizations.

In his address, the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, conveyed that after the appointment, Student Organizations were now officially able to carry out their activities. He also touched upon the technical guidelines for the use of the newly renovated PKM (Student Activity Center) room. Furthermore, Dr. Teguh urged each Ormawa to promptly develop their work programs under the guidance of the Chair of the Student Creativity Program Unit and Student Achievement, Agus Naryoso, S.Sos., M.Si., and his Vice, Muhammad Arief Zuliyan, S.IP., LL.M., as well as the Heads of Departments and Study Programs within FISIP Undip.

Currently, FISIP Undip has various active Student Organizations operating in their respective fields. Today’s appointment event also involved the management of Ormawa within FISIP Undip, including the Faculty Student Senate (SMF) of FISIP Undip, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of FISIP Undip, Student Associations of the five undergraduate programs within FISIP Undip, Activity Unit (UPK) for the Activities of the Muslim Student Communication Forum (FKKM), Activity Unit for the Protestant Christian Student Fellowship (PMKP), Activity Unit for Catholic Student Spiritual Service, Activity Unit for Social Concern Student Association (HIMPS), Social and Political Science English Study Club (Species), Basketball Unit (Globies), Football Unit (Orangers), Badminton Unit, Student Choir Unit (PSM) of Orange Choir’s, Student Press Agency (LPM) of OPINI, Traditional Dance Unit (Tatra), Sakutala Activity Unit, and Aufklarung Activity Unit.

This appointment event marks the beginning of a new chapter in student activities at FISIP Undip. It is hoped that the newly inaugurated Ormawa can carry out their duties and responsibilities effectively for the progress and well-being of students and the campus community as a whole. May the activities conducted contribute positively to the development of student’s potential and overall campus life.
