“PReman Temcy”: Communication Studies Students from Undip’s FISIP Win 2nd Place at the 2026 Atma Jaya Communication Day Competition

Jakarta — Students from the Communication Studies Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Diponegoro University, have once again achieved success at the 2026 Atma Jaya Communication Day Competition (ACDC), organized by Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. The University of Diponegoro Communication Studies delegation, as part of the PReman Temcy team, secured second place in the Public Relations category after competing through a series of rounds culminating in the final pitching session held on September 21, 2026, at Campus 1 Semanggi in Jakarta.

ACDC 2026 carried the overarching theme “Ideas for Impact: Narrating the Future,” serving as a platform for students to develop strategic communication skills in addressing various future challenges. In the Public Relations category, the competition focused on designing strategic communication campaigns to build brand trust and reputation through a commitment to sustainability.

In this competition, participants first went through a proposal selection stage before the qualifying teams advanced to the finals. PReman Temcy successfully made it as one of the five finalist teams and subsequently presented their campaign design before a panel of judges during a pitching session, ultimately securing 2nd place.

This marks the third time PReman Temcy has achieved success in a PR Campaign competition. Previously, they won First Place at THE PRIME Comminfest 2026 at Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University and Third Place at the VOX PR X BURSON Competition 2026 at LSPR Jakarta. This series of achievements is part of PReman Temcy’s journey in developing their skills in communication strategy, research, campaign development, and public speaking.

The PReman Temcy team consists of:

  • Ahmad Jazaus Sakho (14040124140217)
  • Aditya Kristiawan (14040124120040)
  • Ezza Aqilathaya (14040124140177)

It is hoped that this achievement will motivate Communication Studies students at Diponegoro University to continue developing their strategic thinking, creativity, and professional communication skills through various competitions and experiences outside the classroom.
