FISIP ORMAWA EXPO (FOREX): “RASI (Radiating Aspiration, Synergy, and Inspiration)”

SEMARANG – The Campus Harmonization Division of the Student Executive Board (BEM) FISIP Undip 2026 successfully organized the FISIP Ormawa (student organization/Organisasi mahasiswa) Expo (FOREX) from Monday, August 10, 2026, to Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the FISIP Undip Basketball Court. This event formed an integral part of the PKKMB (New Student Orientation) and Pendikar (Character Education) series, serving as a dedicated platform to introduce student organizations to incoming freshmen while fostering direct interaction between new students and various student organizations (Ormawa) within the FISIP Undip environment.

Student organizations play a pivotal role as arenas for students to cultivate their interests, talents, leadership capabilities, and social skills. In recognition of this, FOREX was designed as a space to provide comprehensive information about the diverse range of Ormawa available at FISIP Undip. Carrying the theme “RASI (Radiating Aspiration, Synergy, and Inspiration)”, the event was structured around an expo concept featuring interactive booth visits. This approach offered new students the opportunity to learn about each organization’s profile, distinctive characteristics, work programs, and avenues for contribution. Through face-to-face engagement, freshmen could ask questions, engage in discussions, and explore organizations aligned with their personal interests and potential.

Throughout the four-day expo, new students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, actively touring and visiting organization booths to discover the rich array of Ormawa at FISIP Undip. The event proceeded in an orderly manner, with no overcrowding at the booth areas. This smooth execution was supported by a specially prepared booklet containing detailed profiles of each organization, which students were required to read prior to attending the event. As a result, new arrivals already had a clear overview of the organizations they wished to explore and could proceed directly to the booths that matched their interests. Through this initiative, it is hoped that new students will gain a deeper understanding of the roles and functions of student organizations, as well as the myriad opportunities for personal development and meaningful contribution available at FISIP Undip.
