1,361 New Students of FISIP UNDIP Enliven ORYGIN 2026

Semarang – A total of 1,361 new students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Diponegoro University (UNDIP), participated in ORYGIN FISIP 2026 with great enthusiasm and spirit. This annual event serves as the closing of the entire series of New Student Campus Introduction (PKKMB) and Character Education (Pendikar) at FISIP UNDIP.

ORYGIN FISIP 2026 was also attended by the Dean of FISIP UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs S. Rouli Manalu, S.Sos., MCommSt., Ph.D., the Vice Dean for Human Resources Prof. Ika Riswanti Putranti, A.Md.A.K., S.H., M.H., Ph.D., along with faculty members and students of FISIP UNDIP. The presence of faculty leaders, lecturers, and students provided encouragement for the new students throughout the series of activities.

The Chair of ORYGIN FISIP 2026, Belvanov Bayanaka Pragasa, in his speech, delivered an inspiring message about the spirit of struggle and nationalism for the new students. “Welcome to Orange’s Youth Inauguration FISIP UNDIP 2026. We are all here to become heroes for the Indonesian nation. Never forget that independence belongs only to those who fight. Merdeka, Merdeka, Merdeka!”

The ceremonial series grew increasingly lively with the procession of student association chairs stepping forward to face all participants, each voicing the jargon of their respective departments. This procession symbolized the introduction of identity, spirit, and pride for each department within FISIP UNDIP.

The enthusiasm of new students grew even stronger during the department performances or Mahakarya, which showcased the creativity and teamwork of students from each department. The event continued with speeches from the student association chairs, which served as an important part in building a sense of togetherness and introducing the values of FISIP student struggle. The series of events concluded with a lively department parade. Each department displayed its unique character and identity in an atmosphere full of energy and unity.

ORYGIN FISIP 2026 was not merely a welcoming and inauguration ceremony for new students, but also a moment to reaffirm the spirit of togetherness, courage, and love for the alma mater. With the conclusion of this event, the 1,361 new students of FISIP UNDIP are officially part of the FISIP UNDIP family and are expected to continue their academic journey and student life with enthusiasm, integrity, and positive contributions to society, the nation, and the country.
