Semarang, 19 May 2026 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, through the Healthy Campus Unit, held the Onboarding of Healthy Campus Volunteers FISIP Undip, participated in by students from various study programs within FISIP Undip. This event marks the first step in building synergy and commitment among students as volunteers who will contribute to supporting student health and wellness services on campus.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FISIP Undip, Mrs. S. Rouli Manalu, Ph.D. In her remarks, she expressed appreciation to students who have been willing to become part of the Healthy Campus Volunteers and emphasized the importance of students’ roles in creating a campus environment that is caring, responsive, and healthy both physically and mentally.
“Healthy Campus Volunteers are not only supporting health services on campus, but also representing students’ care and concern for one another. We hope the volunteers can become part of the effort to build a healthier, more supportive, and responsive campus environment for students,” she stated.
The activity continued with an introduction session for the student volunteers of Healthy Campus, who come from five study programs at FISIP Undip: Public Administration, Government Science, Communication Science, Business Administration, and International Relations. This session served as the initial moment to strengthen relationships among volunteers and to foster a spirit of collaboration across study programs.

Next, participants attended a session delivered by the Coordinator of the Healthy Campus Unit FISIP Undip, Agne Yasa. The material covered an introduction to FISIP Undip UKS Volunteers, the main duties of volunteers, daily shift schedules and guidelines, emergency handling procedures, as well as the ethics of health services for students.In her presentation, Agne Yasa explained that volunteers are responsible for assisting UKS services, providing first aid, maintaining health facilities, and coordinating with the Healthy Campus team in supporting students who require health assistance.
“Volunteers are expected to provide services with empathy, maintain professionalism, and understand the limitations of actions that can be carried out within the volunteers’ capacity,” she explained.
The event was conducted interactively through a Q&A session discussing various matters related to the duties, responsibilities, and working mechanisms of Healthy Campus Volunteers. Participants showed great enthusiasm in understanding their roles as the front line of student health services within the FISIP Undip environment. The onboarding activity concluded with a group photo session. Through this activity, it is hoped that the volunteers will carry out their duties with responsibility and social awareness, while also becoming part of the effort to create a healthy, safe, and supportive campus environment for all students.
