The Research and Scientific Affairs Division of the Student Executive Board FISIP Undip held the Mentoring Activity for NUDC & KDMI 2026 on Saturday, May 9, 2026, on the premises of FISIP Undip. This activity was intended for students who had successfully passed the selection to serve as delegates for the National University Debating Competition (NUDC) and the Indonesian University Debating Competition (Kompetisi Debat Mahasiswa Indonesia / KDMI) at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
This mentoring program aims to prepare the delegates to face university-level and national debating competitions with greater maturity and readiness. In addition to enhancing critical thinking skills and argumentation techniques, the mentoring serves as a platform for participants to develop public speaking abilities, strengthen issue analysis, and gain a more profound understanding of debate strategies.
During its implementation, participants received direct guidance through material presentation sessions, debate simulations, interactive discussions, and argument evaluation sessions alongside mentors and fellow delegates. For the KDMI session, the mentoring was led by Kayla Fauziyah Fajri, while the NUDC session was guided by Luthfatul Amanah. The atmosphere of the mentoring was active and communicative, encouraging delegates to become more confident in expressing their opinions and to build logical, systematic, and persuasive arguments.
Through the NUDC & KDMI 2026 Mentoring Activity, it is hoped that the delegates from FISIP Undip can prepare themselves optimally and bring home proud achievements at the next level of debating competitions.
