Semarang (04/21) – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP UNDIP) held a discussion on the implementation of a double degree program with University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, as part of strengthening an established international collaboration.
The session was attended by Dean Teguh Yuwono, Vice Dean I Rouli Manalu, Vice Dean II Prof. Ika Riswanti Putranti, all Heads of Departments and Study Programs, faculty coordinators, as well as all International Undergraduate Program (IUP) Coordinators. IUP students were also present, demonstrating strong enthusiasm for the double degree opportunity.
Representing UQ’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), Maj Coop from the International Office and Nadia Sarah attended the discussion.
In his remarks, the Dean introduced the faculty leadership, department and program heads, as well as IUP coordinators, while reaffirming FISIP UNDIP’s commitment to implementing international programs as part of its vision to become a world-class faculty.
The discussion was highly interactive, with active participation from IUP coordinators, lecturers, and students. Various questions were raised regarding the double degree scheme, academic systems, and study experience at UQ. Maj Coop responded clearly and comprehensively to all inquiries.
Maj Coop also expressed strong enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration.
“We are very excited and truly welcome this collaboration. Hopefully this partnership can run smoothly and bring meaningful benefits to both institutions,” he stated.
Vice Dean I, Rouli Manalu, provided guidance and encouragement to students interested in joining the program, emphasizing the importance of academic preparedness and global readiness.
