Semarang, February 10, 2026 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP Undip) once again hosted an educational visit from a senior high school. On this occasion, FISIP Undip welcomed 51 students and 2 accompanying teachers from Budi Cendekia Islamic School, Depok. This visit followed a similar session with SMA Garuda Cendekia the previous day, reflecting the high level of interest among schools in exploring FISIP Undip’s academic environment.
The delegation received a warm welcome from the FISIP Undip academic community. Representing Budi Cendekia Islamic School, Mr. Miftahul Ihsan, S.E., M.Pd., expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the excellent reception. He explained that the visit aimed to provide students with firsthand information regarding various admission tracks and their requirements, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of the university entrance selection process.
The official welcome from FISIP Undip was delivered by Dr. Agus Naryoso, S.Sos., M.Si., representing the Dean of FISIP Undip. In his remarks, he welcomed the group and highlighted FISIP Undip’s strengths, including national and international rankings, as well as state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories. He also discussed the competitive career prospects for graduates. Furthermore, Dr. Agus detailed the various admission pathways to Universitas Diponegoro—including SNBP, SNBT, SBUB, and the Independent Examination (UM)—and introduced the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), along with its unique advantages and entry requirements.
The event continued with an interactive socialization session regarding the study programs within FISIP Undip, presented by lecturers from each department. The students showed great enthusiasm during the Q&A session, actively asking questions about specific majors, the learning process, and career development opportunities.
The itinerary also featured testimonials from FISIP Undip students who shared their campus experiences, followed by a photo session with lecturers, teachers, and students. The visit concluded with a FISIP Tour, during which students had the opportunity to observe the faculty’s premium facilities, including the library, laboratories, classrooms, and student activity areas that support international-standard learning.
Through this visit, FISIP Undip hopes to provide a clear perspective on university life and serve as a valuable reference for students planning their future higher education.
