Fostering Synergy: Exploring Collaboration between Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Regional Hospital and FISIP Undip

Semarang (07/08) – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) continues to strengthen its strategic partnerships, this time with Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Regional Hospital. This collaboration is part of ongoing efforts to support academic development and professionalism in the fields of health and socio-political sciences. Through this synergy, it is expected that the collaboration will not only enrich scientific knowledge but also provide tangible benefits to the community, particularly in Central Java Province.

On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, an exploratory meeting between Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Regional Hospital and FISIP Undip took place in the Dean’s Meeting Room 1, 2nd Floor, Building A, FISIP Undip campus, Tembalang. The visit was led by Dr. Yulia Fitriani, Sp. M., who serves as the Acting Vice Director for Medical Support and Education, accompanied by the Vice Director for General Affairs and Finance, Mudji Sri Utami, SKM., M.Kes.

This meeting followed the Pre-Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Forum Group Discussion (FGD) between the Provincial Government of Central Java and Universitas Diponegoro, held on Monday, August 5, 2024. During the FGD, various mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities between both parties were comprehensively discussed, and the meeting at FISIP Undip aimed to further detail the plans for this partnership.

The exploratory meeting focused on technical discussions regarding the forms of collaboration to be established, as well as the objectives and targets of the partnership. In a warm and constructive discussion, both parties agreed to continue the talks toward finalizing the MoU. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that a strong synergy between the medical and social sciences fields will be created, ultimately enhancing the quality of healthcare services and advancing knowledge in both institutions.
