Semarang – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP UNDIP), is once again organizing a religious event titled Khataman and Ifthar Bersama as part of the Phase 2 Qur’an Recitation Completion during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H. The event will be held on Friday, 6 March 2026, at Darul Ilmi Mosque, FISIP UNDIP.
This event serves as the culminating moment of the collective Qur’an recitation by juz that has involved lecturers and educational staff within FISIP UNDIP. Through this closing gathering, all participants are invited to complete the khatmil Qur’an prayers together, deepen Islamic values through a religious lecture, and strengthen social bonds in the spirit of communal ifthar.
The organizing committee extends its deepest appreciation to all lecturers and educational staff of FISIP UNDIP who have generously devoted their time and participation to the Qur’an recitation series. Their involvement reflects a spirit of togetherness, spiritual strengthening, and a collective commitment to making Ramadan a month of increased worship and virtue.

The event will also feature a short religious sermon (kultum) by KH. Drs. Aufarul Marom, M.Si, which is expected to provide spiritual enrichment and meaningful reflection for all attendees. The participation of members of the academic community in this event demonstrates FISIP UNDIP’s commitment to fostering a campus environment that excels not only academically but also in moral, spiritual, and social values.
This event is organized through the collaboration of FKMM FISIP, Kemuslimahan, Ketakmiran, and Dharma Wanita, representing synergy among various elements within the faculty in enlivening Ramadan activities on campus. Through this collective spirit, the event is expected to become a meaningful forum for strengthening ukhuwah, nurturing warm social ties, and cultivating an inclusive and sustainable religious culture within FISIP UNDIP.
Through the organization of the Khotmil Qur’an, Religious Lecture, and Communal Ifthar, FISIP UNDIP reaffirms the importance of Ramadan as a moment for spiritual development and for reinforcing solidarity among members of the campus community. This activity is expected not merely to serve as a ceremonial closing of the Qur’an recitation, but also to generate enduring benefits within academic and social life.
