Semarang – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro has formalized a collaboration with the Central Java Office of Communication, Informatics, and Digital Affairs (Diskomdigi). The agreement, signed on Friday (February 20, 2026) at Gradhika Bhakti Praja in Semarang, aims to enhance regional development communication and support the improvement of graduate quality through academic engagement in public and digital communication.
The cooperation was signed by the Head of Central Java Diskomdigi Agung Hariyadi and the Dean of FISIP UNDIP Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono., M.Pol.Admin, witnessed by the Governor of Central Java Ahmad Luthfi and provincial leaders during the Collaborative Award 2026 event. The presence of both government and academic representatives highlights the commitment to advance effective communication practices in regional development.

Through this partnership, FISIP UNDIP students will have opportunities to undertake internships in government agencies, engage in joint research activities, and participate in the production and dissemination of development information. This engagement is expected to enrich students’ practical experience and strengthen FISIP’s role within an evolving knowledge ecosystem responsive to societal needs.
The collaboration between FISIP UNDIP and Central Java Diskomdigi reflects a shared commitment to advancing public communication and development publication using adaptive approaches in the digital era. Through active participation in the implementation of this partnership, FISIP UNDIP seeks to contribute meaningfully to regional development and to graduate quality enhancement that meets professional demands.
