The 2025 National Conference of the Indonesia Business Administration Students Association (IMABI) was officially held from August 7 to 11, 2025. The event was attended by delegates from various universities across Indonesia, including the Business Administration Study Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro. The conference took place at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) and several supporting venues, including Kenanga Kopi, Mochi Kaswari Lampion, Wayang Sukuraga, and the Situ Gunung tourist site. Representing the Business Administration program of Universitas Diponegoro, Hafizh Rizki Ramadhan and Grace Astridsia Nainggolan participated as official delegates in all conference agendas.

IMABI National Conference 2025 carried the theme “Empowering Business Students in Driving Digital Economic Transformation: An Innovative Synergy from Sukabumi Towards a Globally Competitive Indonesia.” The conference aimed to unite Business Administration/Commerce students from across Indonesia in a single national forum, strengthen inter-campus networks, and chart the strategic direction for IMABI’s next period. Through national seminar sessions, organizational meetings, and idea exchanges, participants had the opportunity to broaden their insights into economic digitalization, leadership, and the dynamics of student organizations at the national level.

The series of events began on August 7, 2025, with the delegates’ departure and a “Ngopi Bisnis” session featuring speakers from professional practice. From August 8 to 10, 2025, participants attended national seminars, National Conference plenary sessions, discussions on IMABI’s bylaws and activity reports, and the election of the IMABI Secretary-General for the 2025/2026 period. Additionally, the organizing committee arranged Sukabumi Tour activities, including visits to the Mochi Kaswari Lampion center, the Wayang Sukuraga Museum, batik-making sessions, and a natural excursion to Situ Gunung. These activities provided participants with direct experience of Sukabumi’s local culture while strengthening camaraderie among delegates.

The conference proceeded smoothly with the active participation of all delegates, though some dynamic discussions during the plenary sessions extended certain agendas to the following day. Nevertheless, the entire event series was successfully completed until the closing ceremony on August 10–11, 2025. The conference concluded with the ratification of session resolutions, the IMABI board handover ceremony, and the announcement of the host for the next year’s National Conference.

Overall, the participation of the Undip Business Administration delegates in the IMABI 2025 National Conference provided significant benefits, including new knowledge, expanded networks, and enhanced leadership capacity. Through this event, it is hoped that IMABI will continue to serve as a collaborative platform for Business Administration students across Indonesia to grow, contribute, and play an active role in facing the future of digital economic transformation.
