FISIP Undip Proves Its Allure: Three Schools Visit Campus in Two Days

Semarang, January 13, 2026 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP Undip) has once again demonstrated its appeal as an excellent faculty. Over two consecutive days, FISIP Undip hosted visits from three distinguished schools: SMA Ar Rohmah Putri Malang, SMA Chartar Buana Jakarta Timur, and MA Darussalam Subah Batang. Notably, some of these schools have visited FISIP Undip more than once, underscoring their high level of trust and recognition of the faculty’s academic quality.

The visit series commenced with a campus tour, providing students with a direct look at FISIP Undip’s various international-standard facilities. From lecture halls to learning support amenities, the students enthusiastically explored the tangible campus environment.

The visits were warmly welcomed by FISIP Undip’s academic community. Dr. Agus Naryoso, S.Sos., M.Si., representing the Dean of FISIP Undip, delivered an enthusiastic address. In his presentation, he elaborated on the faculty’s numerous strengths, covering the available university admission pathways and their opportunities, information on the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), and FISIP’s collaborations with various overseas universities.

Furthermore, Dr. Agus highlighted that graduates of Universitas Diponegoro are among the most quickly absorbed into the workforce—a significant added value for prospective students.

A school representative, Lasria Hasibuana, S.E., Principal of Chartar Buana Senior High School of East Jakarta, also expressed her greetings and appreciation.

“Our purpose in coming to FISIP Undip is for our students to understand university-level learning, broaden their horizons about higher education, and comprehend the available admission routes. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Undip academic community for graciously receiving our delegation,” she stated.

Following the welcome session, the event continued with socialization and study program introductions led by FISIP Undip lecturers. The material was delivered in an interactive and communicative manner, captivating the students’ close attention. Enthusiasm peaked during the Q&A session, where students actively posed various questions regarding academic life and study prospects.

To conclude, the event featured a testimonial session from students representing the five undergraduate study programs at FISIP Undip. These students shared authentic experiences from their academic journey, covering both scholarly activities and organizational life. Although at the end of the program, this session further ignited the visiting students’ excitement and interest in FISIP Undip.

Through this series of visits, FISIP Undip reaffirms its commitment as an open, inspiring faculty that continues to be a reference for schools in introducing the world of higher education to the younger generation.
