Semarang, (06/01). In developing and expanding relationships between the Public Administration Student Association (HMPS) and other organizations, both within and between faculties and universities. As a form of developing inter-organizational relationships, the Public Administration Student Association of Diponegoro University has a work program called Benchmarking.
Benchmarking is a comparative study between the Student Association of the Public Administration Study Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, and other Student Associations or Organizations from other study programs or universities. This benchmarking activity aims to facilitate discussion, strengthen collaboration between organizations, evaluate performance and practices in organizing, and build networks that can support the achievement of common goals.
This benchmarking event will be held on June 1, 2025, at the PKM Hall, D Building, 1st Floor, FISIP UNDIP, in collaboration with Brawijaya University. Benchmarking X ConnecTik External 2025 is a collaborative work program between HMPS Public Administration FISIP UNDIP and HUMANISTIK FIA UB. The theme we chose for this activity is PIONEER “Promoting Innovation, Opportunities, Networking, and External Relationships”.

This activity was packaged as a coordination meeting with external stakeholders to discuss potential collaborations and build mutual understanding. It began with presentations on the vision, mission, and work programs of each department/bureau. Then, it was followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to gather ideas and align perspectives in achieving the organization’s goals.
This benchmarking activity focuses on discussing the vision, mission, and goals of each organization, introducing the structure and management of each organization, and the role of each member within the organization. It also involves mutual discussion on effective strategies to achieve organizational goals, the challenges faced by the organizations, and potential solutions that are expected to serve as a basis of evaluating and monitoring the performance of each organization, ultimately leading to improved performance.
