The collaborative forum of Public Administration students across Central Java returned with TERAS JATENG 2025 (Regional Forum of Administrators in Central Java). Organized by the Student Association of the Public Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, this event took place over four days, from June 26 to 29, 2025, in Semarang City.

Carrying the theme “Realizing Equitable and Inclusive Infrastructure Development in Central Java through Responsive Spatial Planning,” TERAS JATENG served as a strategic space for students from five universities in Central Java to discuss, share ideas, and formulate concrete solutions for regional development.

The series of activities began on Thursday, June 26, 2025, with a Delegates Welcoming Dinner held in the Ballroom of Grasia Hotel. This event provided an initial introduction among participants and set the tone of togetherness.

On Friday, June 27, 2025, the program continued with a National Seminar at the PKM Hall of FISIP UNDIP. Three national speakers delivered key insights on infrastructure and spatial planning: Drs. H. Akhmad Muqowam discussed Governance of Sustainable Infrastructure Planning and Development, Prof. Dr. Drs. Hardi Warsono, M.T. presented on Strengthening Connectivity and Accessibility of Infrastructure in Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged Regions (3T), and Assoc. Prof. Rukuh Setiadi, Ph.D. highlighted Smart Infrastructure and the Utilization of Technology in Spatial Planning

Afterward, participants joined Cluster Seminars divided by sub-themes, where each delegation team presented their papers and received assessments from the panel of judges.

On the third day, Saturday, June 28, 2025, the main forum, the General Assembly (MUBES), was held. Here, several important decisions were made, including the election of the permanent presidium, the determination of the theme and host for TERAS JATENG 2026, as well as the official induction of forum members.

In the evening, all delegates attended the Awarding Night & Farewell Party, filled with warmth and appreciation for participants’ active contributions throughout the event.

The program concluded on Sunday, June 29, 2025, with a City Tour to two of Semarang’s historic landmarks, Lawang Sewu and the Old Town District. Besides serving as a relaxation session, the tour also introduced participants to the city’s cultural and historical values.
