SEMARANG – Diponegoro University has once again marked an achievement in the national higher education arena. Two academic leaders from the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Undip have been officially appointed as Assessors for the Independent Accreditation Agency for Social, Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences (LAMSPAK). This appointment affirms the strategic role of FISIP Undip not only as an educational institution but also as a guardian of academic quality standards in Indonesia.

The first figure entrusted with this mandate is Prof. Dr. Hardi Warsono, M.T., an academic with a long track record, widely known as a Professor of Collaboration Science and Intergovernmental Management. His expertise in dissecting cross-sectoral governance is also cemented through his position as Head of the Public Sector Collaboration Expertise Group (Kelompok Bidang Keahlian – KBK). In his capacity as an assessor, his perspective on collaborative governance is expected to set a new standard in assessing the quality of public administration study programs across various universities, encouraging curricula that are more adaptive to the demands of inter-agency synergy.

Also appointed as an assessor is Dr. Amni Zarkasyi Rahman, M.Si., who currently serves as the Head of the Doctor of Public Administration Study Program at Undip. As an expert in public governance, Dr. Amni brings practical experience in managing a doctoral program that has earned “Unggul” (Excellent) accreditation. His involvement with LAMSPAK is proof that the quality management of education within the Undip Doctor of Public Administration program has been recognized for its national credibility.

The appointment of these two figures as LAMSPAK Assessors is expected to make a significant contribution to the higher education ecosystem, particularly in ensuring that social-political cluster study programs in Indonesia are capable of producing graduates who are competent, ethical, and relevant to contemporary challenges. For FISIP Undip itself, this achievement further strengthens the institution’s reputation as a “barometer” of public administration education in Indonesia.
