One pivotal moment in Dr. Dhoni’s career came when he was entrusted with the position of Acting Mayor of Surakarta from September 25 to November 23, 2024. During this short tenure, Dr. Dhoni was not only responsible for overseeing the city’s governance during the campaign leave period but also led Surakarta in hosting significant national events, such as the National Paralympic Week (Peparnas) XVII. His success in managing these major events showcased his exceptional leadership skills and ability to perform under pressure.

Dr. Dhoni is also known for his strong commitment to the fight against corruption and the development of integrity within the public sector. He has been an active proponent of anti-corruption policies across various regions, including positioning Solo as a model anti-corruption city alongside other cities. For his dedication to fostering clean governance, Dr. Dhoni received an award from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as an Integrity Development Expert and Creative, Inspirational Anti-Corruption Educator in 2023.
