The Master of Public Administration Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Diponegoro, has once again achieved a significant academic milestone by being awarded “Excellent” (Unggul) accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This highest accreditation status was officially granted on 12 December 2025.

This achievement represents national recognition of the quality of higher education provided by the Master of Public Administration Program at FISIP Universitas Diponegoro. In the accreditation process, BAN-PT conducted a comprehensive evaluation of various strategic aspects, including the program’s vision and governance, curriculum quality and relevance, human resource competence, internal quality assurance systems, learning facilities and infrastructure, as well as performance in the implementation of the tridharma of higher education education, research, and community service.

The Master of Public Administration Program at FISIP Universitas Diponegoro has consistently developed a curriculum that is adaptive to the dynamics of public policy, bureaucratic reform, and the demands of good governance. The learning process is designed to be research- and practice-oriented, equipping students with analytical, managerial, and leadership competencies essential for the public sector at both national and regional levels.

The Head of the Master of Public Administration Program, Dr. Augustin Rina Herawati, M.Si, stated that this achievement is the result of hard work and collaboration among the entire academic community. Strong support from university and faculty leadership, the dedication of lecturers and administrative staff, as well as the active participation of students and alumni, were key factors in achieving the “Excellent” accreditation. In addition, collaboration networks with government institutions, research organizations, and strategic partners have contributed significantly to improving the quality of education and graduate relevance.

The “Excellent” accreditation is expected to further strengthen the position of the Master of Public Administration Program at FISIP Universitas Diponegoro as one of Indonesia’s leading centers for the development of public administration scholarship and practice. This status also opens broader opportunities for national and international collaboration, increased academic mobility for faculty members and students, and the strengthening of impactful research and scientific publications in the public sector.

Looking ahead, the Master of Public Administration Program at FISIP Universitas Diponegoro is committed to continuous quality improvement through academic innovation, the strengthening of research culture, and community service activities oriented toward solving public problems.
