This event takes the form of an academic seminar featuring experts in the fields of economics and politics. Its main objectives are to broaden perspectives, enhance critical understanding, and open a dialogue among students, academics, and the public regarding contemporary political-economic issues in Indonesia. The event is organized under the coordination of the Creative Economy Division of the Student Association of Government Science (HMPS Ilmu Pemerintahan), which has prepared the event concept thoroughly from the outset to create an educational, interactive, and impactful academic forum.

The 2025 National Seminar raises the major theme “Contemporary Political Economy: Between State Interests and the Socio-Economic Reality of the People.” This event was conducted offline on October 5, 2025, at Diponegoro University, in a lecture and talk show format moderated by Rafi Ilya Saputra and featuring Muhammad Syaeful Mujab as the main speaker. The presented material focused on discussing the socio-economic reality of society, the perspectives of the younger generation toward government policies, and the role of social media and content creators in responding to national economic issues.

Participants in this event came from among Diponegoro University students and the general public, with a total of 160 attendees. The sequence of the National Seminar included several main stages:

  1. The participant registration stage, where participants registered according to the requirements set by the committee.
  2. The seminar implementation stage, which included a material presentation session by the speaker and an interactive Q&A session between participants and the resource person.

After all sessions were completed, the event continued with the presentation of certificates and documentation as a form of appreciation to the speaker and participants. The seminar was then concluded with a closing session, marking the end of the event while expressing hope that it could provide real contributions to the development of students’ insights and critical awareness regarding political-economic issues in Indonesia.
