The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP Undip), through the Division of Organizational Affairs and Student Resource Development (K&PSDM) of BEM FISIP Undip, successfully held the Intermediate Student Management Skills Training (Latihan Keterampilan Manajemen Mahasiswa Tingkat Menengah / LKMM-TM) 2025 on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the FIMENA Auditorium, FISIP Undip. Carrying the theme “EMPEROR: Encouraging the Mobilization of Principles and Responsibility in Organizational Relevance”, the event was attended by six student delegates from FISIP Undip who had previously completed the LKMM-TD preparatory stage.
This program serves as one of FISIP’s strategic cadre development agendas, aiming to both select and train the best student delegates to represent the faculty at the university-level LKMM-TM. Beyond the selection process, LKMM-TM FISIP 2025 functions as a platform for developing students’ leadership qualities, critical thinking skills, organizational management, and social responsibility. Through this initiative, students are expected to better understand their vital role as agents of change within both the university and the wider community.
The event commenced at 7:30 a.m. with an opening ceremony featuring prayers, the singing of Indonesia Raya and Mars Undip, followed by welcoming remarks delivered on behalf of the Vice Dean I of FISIP by BEM FISIP’s Faculty Advisor, Damaris Bernike Bellastuti, M.A. In her address, she emphasized the importance of building strong character and leadership principles among students.
The main session, Public Examination of Prospective Delegates, unfolded in a dynamic and interactive atmosphere. Each participant was given ten minutes to present their ideas, followed by a Q&A session with panelists, the audience, and the judges. The topics raised were diverse and relevant to student life, including the effectiveness of student movements in influencing public policy, integrating sustainability principles (SDGs) into student organizations, the urgency of establishing a Student Audit Body, and promoting women’s participation in student governance.
Throughout the event, both participants and the audience demonstrated high enthusiasm. The lively discussions reflected the students’ critical awareness, social sensitivity, and strong argumentation skills. Panelists provided constructive feedback to deepen participants’ understanding of the issues discussed while encouraging them to formulate practical, solution-oriented approaches. The event concluded at 4:00 p.m. with a documentation and evaluation session, marking the orderly and successful completion of the day’s agenda.
Through LKMM-TM FISIP 2025, BEM FISIP Undip successfully created an inspiring and collaborative learning environment for students. The program not only produced outstanding delegates to advance to the university level but also strengthened the spirit of solidarity, integrity, and accountability within the FISIP community. It is hoped that the participants of this program will emerge as progressive leaders—broad-minded, visionary, and ready to contribute to the sustainable development of organizations and society at large.
