Semarang, October 4, 2025 – The Diponegoro Muda Hall in Building D of FISIP Undip was filled with palpable enthusiasm as second-year students gathered for the “Concentration Deep-Dive 2025” event. Held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, the event aimed to provide comprehensive guidance and insights for students deciding on their study focus within the Communication Science Department, particularly on the two main concentrations: Strategic Communication and Multimedia & Creative Content.

The event featured a total of four distinguished speakers, including two expert lecturers and two students from the class of 2022 who have immersed themselves in their respective concentrations. The first session featured presentations from Communication Science lecturers, Nurist Surayya Ulfa, S.Sos., M.Si., Ph.D. and Dr. Lintang Ratri Rahmiaji, S.Sos., M.Si., who elaborated on the curriculum and specific courses within each concentration. Starting with the 2024 cohort, the department offers two primary tracks: the first is Strategic Communication, and the second is Multimedia & Creative Content.

Following the lecturers’ presentations, the event continued with a sharing session led by student representatives from the class of 2022 for each concentration. The session opened with a video report by Natali Ginting, a student from the Journalism concentration, who shared stories about her experiences in the program. Bintang Amanda, a Strategic Communication student, then discussed the dynamic nature of her concentration and provided an overview of the assignments in her various courses.

In addition to detailing their academic workload, the student speakers also shared their experiences during internships. This provided attendees with a clearer picture of the prospective career paths available for each concentration. The participants listened attentively and actively engaged with questions during each session.

The “Concentration Deep-Dive 2025” concluded with an interactive Q&A session. Participants expressed that they had gained invaluable clarity and inspiration, empowering them to make this crucial decision for their academic journey.
