Semarang, October 4, 2025 — Challenges in composing globally reputable articles were the central issue addressed at the Academic Manuscript Workshop, organized by the Public Sector Collaboration Academic Expertise Cluster of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP Undip). This event was designed to enhance students’ academic capacity, equipping them to write scientific articles worthy of publication in internationally reputable journals.
The workshop, titled “Training on Scientific Article Writing Techniques,” featured two distinguished speakers: Dr. Lanita Winata, MBA, BCom., ACC (Hons), CPAA, a management expert from Griffith University, and Dr. Phil. Arif Budy Pratama, Ph.D, an academic in politics and public policy from Tidar University. Both shared strategic insights and practical experiences in preparing manuscripts that meet global publication standards.
The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Hardi Warsono, MT, Chair of the Public Sector Collaboration Academic Expertise Cluster at FISIP Undip. In his opening remarks, he expressed his hope that, “Through this workshop, students will not only be able to compose publishable manuscripts but also enhance their competitiveness in global academic writing.”

She noted, “This initiative is highly meaningful, particularly for fostering the will to write.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Phil. Arif Budy Pratama, Ph.D, highlighted the methodological aspects of research and the critical need for a systematic logical structure to ensure articles are accepted by internationally renowned journals. Writing requires time, and even more so for world-renowned publications; therefore, we must cultivate a writing culture, and this event is essential for that purpose.”
