Semarang, February 19, 2025 – Another proud achievement has been made by an undergraduate student of Communication Science at Diponegoro University. Deana Zahira Nurhindarto won 1st Place in the Reporter Challenge COMMDISE 6.0, part of the DINUSFEST 2025 event series.
The Reporter Challenge competition is one of the highlights of DinusFest 2025, an annual festival organized by Dian Nuswantoro University (Udinus). The event serves as a platform for creativity, innovation, and talent development for high school/vocational school students and university students across Indonesia, through a variety of national-level competitions.
COMMDISE 6.0 was held on January 25, 2025, by the Communication Science Student Association of Udinus. It brought together students from various universities to compete in journalistic skills—from writing speed to news accuracy. Participants were not only judged on their reporting techniques but also challenged to demonstrate creativity and sensitivity in delivering information to the public.
The competition was made even more special by the presence of an experienced panel of judges from the fields of communication, journalism, and media. The judges included Disma Ajeng Rastiti, M.A., C.T., founder and trainer at DPSC Indonesia; Nadia Itona Siregar, lecturer and young professional in communication; and Dr. Hery Pamungkas, M.I.Kom., lecturer and operational director of TVKU Semarang. Their presence brought a unique touch to the event, as each participant received valuable feedback directly from competent practitioners and academics.
Deana performed with confidence and showcased her best abilities, earning her a well-deserved win. She impressed the judges with her clear, confident reporting style and her ability to build a strong connection with the audience.

Meanwhile, the peak event of DinusFest 2025 was held on February 19, 2025, where the winners of all competition categories were officially announced and awarded. On this occasion, Deana’s achievement was once again recognized, alongside a number of other students who contriubute the good reputation.
