Semarang, May 23, 2025 – UPK Sakutala FISIP UNDIP has officially embarked on a new journey through its work program Sakutala Podcast: In the Key of Music. Held in the Multimedia Lab Room, the event served as a relaxed yet meaningful space to talk about the world of music, while also showcasing a different side of campus musicians.

Starting at 10:00 WIB, the podcast recording was conducted in two sessions. The first session featured Muhammad Arif Dermawan, while the second session presented a representative from UKM Kesenian Jawa. Both guests shared their experiences about their musical journeys, creative inspirations, and the challenges of making art in the digital era.

Event chairperson, Raveyfa Alya Azila, explained that the podcast was designed so that music isn’t just heard, but its stories are understood as well. “Through this podcast, we want to create a new, more intimate space between musicians and listeners, while also becoming a shared learning platform,” she said.

With theme “In the Key of Music”, this program is expected to act as a bridge between musicians’ creativity and the audience’s curiosity. Beyond that, Sakutala Podcast has become a valuable opportunity for the organizing team to sharpen their digital skills from production and publication to content distribution.

Sakutala UPK Chairperson, Muhammad Ariq Dzakwan, emphasized that digital innovation like this is the right move. “Sakutala isn’t just about music on stage, but also about how we can stay relevant and creative in digital spaces,”  he said.

This first podcast episode is planned to be released on Sakutala FISIP UNDIP YouTube channel, targeting 100+ views. It is hoped that this episode will pave the way for future content series that are more diverse and inspiring.***
