Fulfilling the mission to be a World Class University, Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) shows its competence with an outstanding achievement. The QS World University Rankings Asia (QS WUR Asia) is a part of the QS World University Rankings that records the rankings from various universities and institutions all around the world and region, one of which is the Asia region. In its assessment, the QS WUR Asia assess 11 indicators which include the academic reputation and the graduates, publication, citation, as well as foreign lecturers and students.

According to the ranking result of the 2021 QS WUR Asia released on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, on https://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/asian-university-rankings/2021page, Undip succeeds to rank 9 Nationally and becomes the 241 best universities in Asia. It is better than the last year’s result where Undip was on 281-290 position in Asia (QS WUR Asia 2020). By the progress of the rank in the Asia level, it shows that Undip’s quality is improving. This achievement is the result of the hard work and cooperation of all parties to make Undip becomes a university with high integrity. Rector of Undip congratulates all the Undip’s academicians and Alumni for their contribution and participation. This is also the result of the synergy of Undip’s 3 organs, namely the Rector, the Board of Trustees dan the Academic Senate . They have escorted Undip to improve its quality to rank in the world-class top 500 (World Class University).

In addition to the Asia and International levels, Undip also focuses on maintaining a good reputation as one of the PTNBH universities in Indonesia. Undip encourages the lecturers to carry out researches and produce quality journals with a high reputation (Scopus indexed). Undip also supports the students’ positive activities, both on-campus or off-campus activity as the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar policy. By improving the quality of the human resources as well as the facilities and infrastructure of the learning and teaching activities, Undip expects to pursue better achievement in the future.

Undip’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, SH., M.Hum. conveys his gratitude for the achievement. “The achievement made has strengthened Undip as a world class university which is supported with quality human resource and students’ achievements in national or international level”, he conveyed.
