Communication Science Student of Diponegoro University as a Delegate at the PolyU Undergraduate Conference on Applied Linguistics and Language Studies 2026 in Hong Kong

One of the Communication Science students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, Isack Josua Sasmita Siahaan, had the opportunity to present his research abstract at an international conference entitled PolyU-CALLS (PolyU Undergraduate Conference on Applied Linguistics and Language Studies). This conference was organized by the Department of English and Communication, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, on March 28, 2026, in Hong Kong. The aim of the conference was to provide undergraduate students with a platform to showcase and present their ongoing scientific research to a global academic audience.

At the conference, Isack presented his research abstract entitled “Antecedents of AI Dependency Behavior Among Indonesian College Students from the I-PACE Model Perspective: The Buffer Role of AI Literacy.” Following his presentation, Isack received in-depth feedback from professors and conference attendees, which was highly beneficial for the continuity and improvement of the quality of his research.

Participation in this international conference is a manifestation of the commitment of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, to enhancing the quality of the research climate, so that the research produced can have significant impact and benefits for Indonesia and the world. It is hoped that this conference will encourage and inspire other members of the academic community to improve the quality research climate within the Universitas Diponegoro environment.
