Semarang – The Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP UNDIP), organized the Undip Campus Tour 2026 for international students participating in the Diponegoro Exchange Experience Program (DEEP) Scholarship on Friday, March 13, 2026.
The activity aimed to provide international students, who are currently undertaking an exchange program at the Department of Business Administration, with a deeper understanding of the university environment. Through the campus tour, participants were introduced to various academic facilities and supporting learning infrastructure across the Tembalang campus.
During the tour, the students visited several key locations, including the Rectorate Building, Central Library, jogging track, sports facilities such as badminton and basketball courts, the deer conservation area, as well as healthcare services at Diponegoro National Hospital and the multipurpose hall Muladi Dome.
This year, the Department of Business Administration welcomed 10 international students from three partner universities. From Kazan Federal University (Russia), six students participated: Akmasheva Guzel Anfisovna, Yakhiyaeva Darina Ruslanovna, Lukmanova Liana, Yakovleva Anastasiya, Sultanova Dinara Ilgizarovna, and Bazhanov Danil Petrovich. From Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (Vietnam), three students joined the program: Nguyen Hoang Phat, Pham Ngoc Anh Thu, and Le Hoang Vy. Meanwhile, Mohamed Jamaleddine represented Bochum University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
Throughout the activity, the international students were accompanied by the Secretary of the Undergraduate Business Administration Program, Robetmi Jumpakita Pinem, the IUP Coordinator Dhaifina Idznitia Apriyani Naimi, and Umi Lestari. Local students also supported the participants through the Buddy Program, which was designed to help them adapt to the campus environment while fostering closer interaction with Indonesian students.
According to Robetmi, the campus tour is an essential part of the orientation process for international students. In addition to introducing campus facilities, the activity is also intended to foster a sense of belonging toward Universitas Diponegoro.
“We hope this experience will create a strong sense of belonging toward UNDIP, so that when they return to their home countries, the students can serve as global ambassadors who introduce UNDIP to the wider international community,” he explained.
The activity aligns with the direction of FISIP UNDIP Dean Teguh Yuwono, who emphasizes the importance of international programs in strengthening global academic networks and increasing the attractiveness of FISIP UNDIP as a study destination for international students.
Through initiatives such as the campus tour and the DEEP program, FISIP UNDIP continues to provide an inclusive and globally oriented learning experience while further strengthening its international reputation. (Muhammad Rif’at Al-Razi)
