SEMARANG, March 4, 2026 – In a strategic move toward global excellence, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro held an online socialization event for the World Class University (WCU) programs. The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean of Academic and Student Affairs of FISIP Undip, who emphasized the vital role of student involvement in the international arena.

The virtual session, attended by 70 participants including Department Heads, Study Program coordinators, and student organization representatives (Ormawa/HMPS), focused on strategic opportunities designed to boost the Faculty’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU).

The six flagship programs available for student participation include:

1. Student Go International (SGI)
2. SDG-Related Student Groups
3. Alumni Consolidation Activities
4. Alumni Diaspora Forum
5. Undip Global Classroom
6. International Short Course/Summer Course

During the opening remarks, the Vice Dean of Academic and Student Affairs highlighted that the WCU programs serve as a “red carpet” for students to gain global exposure. He urged all program coordinators and student leaders to actively disseminate this information to ensure that FISIP students can maximize these prestigious opportunities.
