FISIP Undip Strengthens Public Administration Science Through Public Lecture and Study Visit from Universitas Pasundan

Semarang, Tuesday, February 3, 2026 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Diponegoro University (Undip) received a study visit from Universitas Pasundan (Unpas) Bandung, which was combined with a public lecture organized by FISIP Undip Semarang. The event took place in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Building A, FISIP Undip Tembalang Campus, and is part of the efforts to strengthen academic cooperation between universities, particularly in developing knowledge and learning in the field of Public Administration.

The event began with an opening ceremony and the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, followed by welcoming remarks and an explanation of the visit’s objectives by the representatives from Universitas Pasundan Bandung. Subsequently, FISIP Undip delivered its welcome address, represented by Dr. A. P. Dra. Tri Yuniningsih, M.Si., as the Head of the Public Administration Department of FISIP Undip, who emphasized the importance of inter-university collaboration in enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service.

As a symbol of strengthening institutional relations, the event continued with an exchange of commemorative gifts between Universitas Pasundan Bandung and FISIP Undip. Following that, participants received an overview of the Public Administration Study Program at FISIP Undip, presented by Dr. Amni Zarkasyi Rahman, S.A.P., M.Si., as the Head of the Doctoral (S3) Public Administration Study Program at FISIP Undip, who explained the study program’s profile, curriculum, and the direction of Public Administration science development at FISIP Undip.

The main agenda of the event featured a public lecture organized by FISIP Undip on the theme “Ecology of Public Administration,” delivered by Prof. Dr. Dra. Hartuti Purnaweni, MPA, a Professor at FISIP Universitas Diponegoro, and moderated by Dr. Amni Zarkasyi Rahman, S.A.P., M.Si. In her presentation, the speaker emphasized the importance of an ecological perspective in public administration as a strategic approach to address the challenges of sustainable development and environmentally conscious governance.

At the end of the event, the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., also attended and delivered a speech reaffirming FISIP Undip’s commitment to fostering sustainable academic collaboration with various universities. The event was then officially closed and followed by a campus tour to introduce the environment, facilities, and infrastructure of FISIP Undip to the delegation from Universitas Pasundan Bandung.

Through this study visit and public lecture, it is hoped that sustainable synergy will be established between Diponegoro University and Universitas Pasundan in the development of education, research, and community service.
