Semarang, January 22, 2026 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP Undip) celebrated the culmination of its 57th Anniversary at the FIMENA Auditorium, Building A, 3rd Floor, Tembalang Campus. The day-long event was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, students, and the wider academic community, serving as a moment to reflect on the institution’s journey and reaffirm its future direction.

The ceremony commenced officially with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem and an opening prayer, followed by an address by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin. He emphasized the critical importance of strengthening academic quality, research, and social contributions in facing global challenges. The 57th Anniversary was framed as a reaffirmation of FISIP Undip’s role in developing adaptive and impactful social and political sciences.

A highlight of the event was the ceremonial cutting of the tumpeng (traditional rice cone), which was integrated with a Reiteration of the FISIP Undip Integrity Zone. This act demonstrated the faculty’s serious commitment to fostering clean, transparent, and accountable governance. The reiteration was formalized through the signing of an integrity pact by representatives of the academic community.

The anniversary program also featured a video montage of birthday greetings from various stakeholders, performances by an internal band, and a historical video titled “FISIP History,” chronicling the faculty’s journey and achievements over 57 years. Following a break for rest, prayer, and meals, the event continued with the “FISIP Conquering The World” segment, showcasing creative performances from each department and unit as a symbol of the collaborative and innovative spirit within FISIP Undip.

As the event drew to a close, the organizing committee announced the winners of the “FISIP Riang Gembira” and “FISIP Conquering The World” segments. Awards were also presented to outstanding lecturers and administrative staff in recognition of their dedication and performance. The celebration concluded with a group photo, capturing an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared optimism.

Through this 57th Anniversary commemoration, FISIP Undip reaffirmed its commitment to continuously strengthening its academic culture, upholding integrity, and enhancing the institution’s competitiveness at both national and global levels, in keeping with the spirit of “Conquering The World.”
