The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) held a Faculty Meeting and the Signing of Performance Contracts for Lecturers with Additional Duties. This event, held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the FIMENA Auditorium, Building A, 3rd Floor, FISIP Undip Campus, Tembalang, was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional governance and performance commitment.

The meeting was attended by the faculty’s leadership and administrators team, including the Dean, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Vice Dean for Resources, department and study program heads, field coordinators, and unit leaders within FISIP Undip. The presence of the entire management structure underscored the Faculty’s serious commitment to integrating performance planning, execution, and evaluation.

In his opening address, the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., emphasized the necessity of strong leadership and decisive policy execution through the reinforcement of a cascading performance agreement system, spanning from the University and Faculty levels down to individual lecturers. He highlighted this system as the foundational pillar for building accountability and governance effectiveness within the Faculty.

Furthermore, the Dean outlined the strategic division of roles between the Dean’s Office, departments, and study programs in academic and student affairs administration. He clarified that the Faculty acts as the Study Program Organizing Unit (UPPS) responsible for setting policy direction, while the study programs serve as the operational implementers of these policies. This alignment of roles was deemed crucial for maintaining the consistency of academic quality and institutional performance achievements.

The Dean’s directives also focused on several key strategic agendas. These included the restructuring of the 2026 Academic Expertise Cluster (Kelompok Bidang Keilmuan/KBK), strengthening the homebase and Permanent Lecturers of Study Programs (Dosen Tetap Program Studi/DTPS) as prerequisites for excellent accreditation, enhancing the quality management of scientific journals with a target of Scopus indexing by 2026, and the Faculty’s preparedness for accreditation agency assessors. Additionally, he stressed the need for agile and adaptive governance acceleration to support Universitas Diponegoro’s global reputation targets.

The event concluded with the ceremonial Signing of Performance Contracts for Lecturers with Additional Duties between the Dean and the Heads of Departments and Study Programs within FISIP Undip. This signing symbolized a shared commitment to carrying out additional duties professionally, with measurable, performance-oriented outcomes. It also reaffirmed FISIP Undip’s dedication to realizing accountable and competitive faculty governance.
