ORANGE’S PRESTATIF CLASS: SEKOLAH MAWAPRES 2025 “Shaping Outstanding Students for Global Sustainability”

Semarang, October 25 – November 2, 2025 – The Research and Academic Division (Riskel) of the 2025 Student Executive Board (BEM), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), has successfully organized the Orange Prestatif Class (OPC): Sekolah Mawapres 2025 (Outstanding Student School 2025). Held from October 25-26 and November 1-2, 2025, this program was designed as a training platform for high-achieving FISIP students to enhance their hard and soft skills. Aligned with the theme “Shaping Outstanding Students for Global Sustainability,” the event emphasized the importance of student sensitivity to innovation and social responsibility.

The first session took place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the Theater Room of FISIP Undip and via Zoom Meeting. The event featured two distinguished speakers. Khoridatun Nayyiroh, an award-winning student from the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) Undip, shared effective strategies for preparing for the Outstanding Student Award (Mawapres). Nawangsasi Wincahyo Artiko Aji, S.A.P., M.A.P., followed with a discussion on the significance of sustainable personal branding to create a positive impact beyond social media and within the broader community.

The program continued on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 08.00 A.M. to 15:00 P.M. (Western Indonesia Time), in the Antawirya Room, FISIP Undip, and via Zoom. Muhammad Faizal Alfian, S.IP, M.A., guided participants on crafting outstanding student achievement portfolios. Subsequently, Ardy Wibowo, S.S.T., M.B.A., presented on developing creative ideas, providing feedback that stressed the analysis of current issues and the formulation of strategic solutions.

The next series was held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 08:00 A.M. to 15:00 P.M. (Western Indonesia Time), in the Antawirya Room and online. Nadia Farabi, S.Hub.Int, M.A, Ph.D., coached students on improving their presentation skills and self-confidence, highlighting the importance of body language, particularly for presentations in English. The following session, led by Anjani Tri Fatharini, S.IP., M.A., focused on generating creative ideas based on regional potential to ensure sustainable and widely impactful outcomes for society.

The final meeting convened on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in the Antawirya Room and via Zoom, featuring Muhammad Bayu Widagdo, M.I.Kom. Students were given a platform to showcase their diverse talents—from poetry to modeling—accompanied by mentors. They received direct feedback aimed at strengthening their articulation, gestures, and audience communication.

Overall, OPC 2025 is envisioned as a meaningful self-development avenue for promising FISIP Undip students. It aims to assist them in evolving into exceptional, innovative individuals who can create a positive impact, contributing not only to the FISIP community but also to the nation and the world.
