Semarang (16/10) — In an effort to bolster religious activities within the university environment, the Management Board of Darul ‘Ilmi Mosque at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Diponegoro organized a Khateeb (Friday Sermon Preacher) Training for lecturers and educational staff. This initiative serves as a means to enhance the religious capacity of the academic community while simultaneously fostering a campus atmosphere that is ethical, character-driven, and grounded in spiritual values.
The Khateeb Training was held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the BRM Antawirya Meeting Room, Building A, 1st Floor, of the FISIP Undip Tembalang Campus. The event featured prominent figures as speakers: K.H. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Adnan, M.A. and K.H. Drs. Aufarul Marom, M.Si. In the first material session, K.H. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Adnan, M.A., presented a topic on the guidelines for performing Friday Prayer according to the Shafi’i School, providing a detailed explanation of the conditions, pillars, and recommended practices (sunnah) of the sermon (khutbah). This program stands as one of FISIP Undip’s strategic steps in cultivating a harmonious and inclusive religious culture within the academic community.
