The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Diponegoro University (Undip) has issued the Mid-Semester Examination (UTS) Regulations for the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. These regulations contain several important provisions that must be obeyed by all students taking the exams.
The main rules emphasized include:
-
-
- Attire and Appearance: Exam participants are required to wear shoes and decent, modest clothing. The prohibition of wearing t-shirts or clothes that do not cover the stomach, waist, and chest is also emphasized.
- Lateness: Participants who are more than 20 minutes late are not permitted to take the exam. Those who are late will not be granted extra time to work on the exam.
- Exam Card: Students must show their Exam Participant Card (KPU) to the invigilator. Participants who cannot show the KPU or proof of registration in the List of Exam Participants and Final Grades (DPUNA) are not allowed to take the exam.
- Equipment and Behavior: Participants must bring their own exam equipment and are strictly forbidden from borrowing from each other. During the exam, all forms of communication with other participants, cheating, opening books/notes (unless permitted), as well as bringing and using mobile phones are strictly prohibited. Mobile phones must be turned off and placed inside bags.
- Seating and Bags: Participants must occupy seats according to the assigned numbers and place their bags in the designated area.
-
The regulations also govern make-up exams. Students can request a make-up exam for reasons of illness, death of a close family member, or other reasons approved by the faculty. The request must be accompanied by valid supporting documents, such as a doctor’s note or an official assignment letter.
For violators, academic sanctions await, ranging from the invalidation of the exam work, termination of exam continuation, to other sanctions determined by the Faculty Leadership.
On the other hand, exam invigilators also have full responsibility, including giving warnings, recording violations, and having the authority to reject late participants.
With the issuance of these regulations, FISIP Undip hopes that the implementation of the UTS can run in an orderly, honest, and smooth manner.
