Semarang (09/26) – In an effort to enhance the quality of facilities supporting the university’s tri dharma (three pillars of higher education) and to bolster the World Class University program, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) has officially commenced operation of a new computer laboratory. The launching ceremony, which took place on Friday, September 26, 2025, signifies the Faculty’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art technological infrastructure for fostering innovations from all academic community members. The laboratory, located on the 2nd Floor of Building B at the FISIP Undip Tembalang Campus, was formally launched by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin.

In his address, the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., stated that this new laboratory comprises two rooms designed with a modern layout to create a conducive atmosphere for learning and creativity. He also introduced the new name for this facility: FiDigiTech (FISIP Digital Technology Laboratory). He expressed his hope that the presence of this facility would serve as a platform for lecturers and students to develop various digital-based breakthroughs.

Through this Fidigitech Computer Lab, FISIP Undip aims to encourage the creation of more innovation, research, and digital works from its academic community. This step is believed to make a significant contribution to enhancing the Faculty’s competitiveness and reputation, as well as supporting the acceleration of Undip’s achievement as a World Class University.***
