Yogyakarta – The men’s swimming team from Diponegoro University achieved a proud accomplishment by securing 2nd place in the 4×50-meter freestyle relay at one of the competitions held during the Gadjah Mada Swimming Competition (GSC) 2025. The event, organized by University Gadjah Mada, took place at the Tirta Krida Swimming Pool in Yogyakarta on August 30, 2025, and was attended by various universities from across Indonesia.

In the relay event, the Diponegoro University team showcased strong teamwork and high fighting spirit. One of the team members, Muhammad Naufal Faturohman, a student from the Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) majoring in Public Administration, played a significant role in the team’s effort. Although they did not finish in first place, securing second place remains a commendable achievement considering the intense competition and the high caliber of the opponents.

This achievement stands as a testament to the athletes’ hard work and represents a concrete contribution from Diponegoro University in the realm of national level sports competition.
