Semarang, June 1, 2025 – The Arts, Sports, and Culture Division of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) has successfully organized the first stage of FISIP Heroes: the Diponegoro Art Competition (DAC) 2025. The event, held under the theme “The Serenade of Arts: Staging the Romance,” took place in the FISIP Undip Theater Room on Sunday, June 1, 2025, and was attended by 35 participants selected from the winners of FISIP MARS 2025.

This initiative aimed to provide a strategic platform for FISIP students to develop their artistic potential while encouraging them to explore their interests, talents, and creativity in the fields of literary arts, visual arts, and vocal arts.

The event commenced with participant registration, an opening ceremony, and addresses from the Chair of the Organizing Committee, the Head of the Division, Soraya, and the President of BEM FISIP Undip. The core of the event featured two presentations. Mohammad Reyhan Ardhito Nugroho presented on “Voicing Change Through Visual Imagination,” which emphasized art as a tool for advocacy, expression, and social critique. Meanwhile, Indrasta Alif Yudistira delivered a presentation on “Building Student Culture Through Visual Expression,” which highlighted the role of art in shaping student identity, collectivity, and inclusivity.

The event concluded with a group documentation session. According to the committee’s report, the activities proceeded smoothly with high enthusiasm from the participants. This demonstrates that FISIP students have a significant interest in the arts, and that art serves not only as entertainment but also as a medium for representing values, identity, and advocacy.***
