The Creative and Business Unit (Ekotif) of the Student Executive Board (BEM) at Universitas Diponegoro’s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) successfully held the FISIP Fashion Week 2025. The event, themed “Cidatra Swantara,” took place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Prof. Soedharto Building in Tembalang, Semarang.
Chaired by Mazaya Rully Fitriafasya, the fashion week was a collaborative endeavor between the Ekotif and Soraya departments. The centerpiece of the event was a dynamic fashion show, which served a dual purpose: showcasing the original designs of FISIP students and launching the faculty’s official brand, “Tigre.”
The runway came alive with twelve models, selected as the faculty’s “Mas” and “Mbak” FISIP ambassadors, who presented curated collections from seven brands: RIOTT, BREVINE, NIRA, TIESA, Montelio, SISABENANG, and the flagship brand, Tigre.
The primary goal of FISIP Fashion Week was to introduce student-owned clothing brands to a wider audience and foster a greater appreciation for the creative industry within the campus community. Beyond the runway, the event featured a vibrant bazaar and an interactive photobooth, enhancing the overall attendee experience.
The fashion show delivered a captivating spectacle, presenting a diverse range of styles. The collections featured everything from semi-formal shirts and modern graphic tees to knitwear, stylish outerwear, minimalist polos, and sustainable garments crafted from fabric waste. The event culminated in a memorable finale, where the Tigre brand unveiled its new workshirts in black and green, symbolizing the fresh identity of the Ekotif BEM FISIP Undip.
