Department of Public Administration at FISIP UNDIP Hosts Guest Lecture on Social Policy

Semarang, February 22, 2025 – The Department of Public Administration, specifically the Bachelor’s Program in Public Administration at FISIP UNDIP, organized a guest lecture on “Ethics and Public Accountability” on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The event was attended online by students from the S1, S2, and S3 programs, as well as several lecturers.

The guest lecture featured three expert speakers:

  1. Dr. Moh. Sigit, S.STP, M.Si – Head of the Poverty Alleviation Division at the Social Affairs Department of Central Java Province, who presented on Social Development Policies in Central Java for 2025.
  2. Dr. Marita Ahdiyana, S.IP., M.Si – Head of the Department of Public Administration at FISIP UNY, who discussed Theories and Concepts of Public Administration Ethics.
  3. Dr. AP. Dra. Tri Yuniningsih, M.Si – Head of the Department of Public Administration at FISIP UNDIP, who spoke about Ethics and Public Accountability in Practice.

The session was moderated by Mas Awang, while Mutia, a student from the S1 Public Administration program at Tembalang, assisted as the MC.

The discussions and questions raised by the participants were highly substantial, reflecting a deep enthusiasm and understanding of the topics covered. The lecture not only provided theoretical insights but also practical applications, focusing on the implementation of social policies and ethics in public administration.

The hope is that similar events will continue in the future, with more advanced topics or a wider range of subjects. This initiative aims to continuously enhance the knowledge and skills of students and lecturers, preparing them to become professionals who can make positive contributions to social and community development.

This guest lecture is part of the Department of Public Administration at FISIP UNDIP’s efforts to enrich the education and expertise of students, ensuring they are well-prepared to excel in the field of public administration.
