The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) held the event “FISIP IUP Day: Unlock Your Global Future!” on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Alumni Creative Co Working Space, FISIP UNDIP, Semarang. This event is aimed at high school students, vocational school students, and equivalent institutions, as well as parents and teachers, to provide information about the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) offered by FISIP UNDIP. This activity is crucial for participants as it offers insights into how to become a student at FISIP UNDIP through the IUP pathway.

Four study programs set up booths at the exhibition, including the Bachelor’s programs in Public Administration, Government Science, Communication Science, and Business Administration. These programs have successfully facilitated hundreds of students in participating in student exchange programs to various countries such as the United States, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, Spain, and Hungary by 2025. Participants also received information about Global Study Opportunities, as IUP students are required to engage in exchange programs abroad.

FISIP UNDIP has established partnerships with numerous universities in Asia and Europe, allowing students the flexibility to choose their desired campuses, with support from the International Office team at FISIP UNDIP ready to assist with administrative processes. Additionally, the event featured an IELTS Tryout & Interview Simulation to provide participants with experience and enhance their skills in preparing for the IUP admission selection and exchange programs.

Participants also had the opportunity to visit several laboratories at FISIP UNDIP, such as the Entrepreneurship Lab, Bizzlab, and Multimedia Lab, as well as experience the comprehensive facilities available at FISIP UNDIP. Umi Lestari, a staff member of the International Office at FISIP UNDIP, stated that the event aims to help students introduce and provide further information about the IUP program.

One participant, Michelia, expressed her excitement about being part of the event, while another student, Albert, added that the event provided him with valuable insights into interesting programs he could pursue. With a variety of engaging activities and support from the FISIP UNDIP team, participants are expected to prepare themselves well for the next steps in their higher education journey.
