On Thursday, February 13, 2025, the UPT Library became a focal point for academics and practitioners in the field of public administration. From 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM WIB, the highly anticipated Book Writing Training Batch 2 took place, themed “Writing Textbooks and Reference Books.” This event was not only a learning platform but also a venue for sharing experiences and inspiration among participants and speakers.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Yoyok Budi Pramono, S.Pt., M.P., IPM, a renowned expert in academic writing, served as the main resource person for this training. He shared in-depth insights on effective writing techniques, from designing the book structure to composing relevant and useful content. With an engaging and interactive delivery style, Prof. Yoyok successfully motivated participants to be more daring and creative in their writing.

The Department of Public Administration seized this opportunity by sending several young lecturers who had not previously had the chance to attend similar training. Damaris Bernike Bellastuti, M.A., Nawangsasi Wincahyo Artiko Aji, S.A.P., M.A.P., Renata Jati Nirmala, S.IAN., MPA, and Mochamad Rizki Fitrianto, M.AP., were among those involved in this activity. Their participation is expected to enhance their ability to write textbooks and reference books, which is crucial in higher education.

This training not only provided technical knowledge about book writing but also inspired young lecturers to be more active in producing scholarly works. With improved writing skills, lecturers are expected to make significant contributions to the development of public administration knowledge in Indonesia. This activity marks an important step in building a strong and sustainable academic culture.

Furthermore, the training served as a networking event for participants. They could exchange ideas and experiences and build professional networks that could support their academic careers in the future. Thus, this training not only enhances individual capacity but also strengthens the academic community as a whole.
