On Thursday, February 13, 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Institute for Human Resource Studies and Development (LAKPESDAM) of PWNU Jawa Tengah and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Diponegoro University. The event took place in the FISIP Diponegoro University Auditorium and was attended by several key officials.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, the Dean of FISIP Diponegoro University, and M. Zainal Anwar, M.S.I., the Chairman of LAKPESDAM PWNU Jawa Tengah. The signing was witnessed by KH. Ubaidullah Shodaqoh, the Rais Syuriah of PWNU Jawa Tengah, and KH. Abdul Ghaffar Rozin, the Chairman of Tanfidziyah PWNU Jawa Tengah.

The purpose of this cooperation is to strengthen the synergy between the academic world and social community organizations in the development of human resources, research, and community empowerment in Central Java. Additionally, this collaboration is crucial for enhancing the performance and effectiveness of both institutions, FISIP Diponegoro University and LAKPESDAM PWNU Jawa Tengah, in achieving their shared goals. Through this partnership, both parties aim to increase the effectiveness and impact of their various activities.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, the Dean of FISIP Diponegoro University, stated that this cooperation is a strategic step in expanding the academic influence of FISIP Diponegoro University, particularly in addressing relevant social and political issues in Central Java. He also emphasized that FISIP Diponegoro University, with its motto “Dignified and Beneficial,” is committed to making a tangible contribution to society.

Meanwhile, M. Zainal Anwar, the Chairman of LAKPESDAM PWNU Jawa Tengah, expressed his hope that this collaboration would bring significant benefits to the community, especially in developing high-quality human resources grounded in national values, in line with the spirit of “Dedicated, Dignified, Building Civilization” from PWNU Jawa Tengah.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, was accompanied by Dr. Nur Hidayat Sardini, S.Sos., S.H., M.Si, the Head of the Department of Politics and Government at FISIP Diponegoro University, as well as several faculty members and postgraduate students from FISIP Diponegoro University, who showed high enthusiasm for this cooperative initiative. This collaboration is expected to foster productive partnerships between academics and community organizations to address existing social challenges and support better development in the Central Java region.
